Build Your Recovery Stack.
Heat and cold are the two tools with the most research behind them, and they do different jobs. Used together, on the same evening, in the same spot in your backyard, they are the closest thing to a complete recovery setup you can put at home.
The problem is working out which sauna goes with which bath, whether the sizes make sense together, and what the whole thing costs before you commit.
That is what this page is for. Five combinations, each built around a pairing that works in a real Australian home, priced together so you save against buying the same items separately. Every stack includes Free East Coast Metro Delivery and a 7 year warranty on the sauna and the bath.
Why Heat and Cold Belong Together
Do one or the other and you get a good result. Do both and you get something neither delivers alone.
Heat opens everything up
Sitting in an Elevate at 60 degrees raises your core temperature and drives blood to the surface. Vessels widen, circulation increases, and your heart rate climbs to somewhere comparable with moderate exercise.
Cold does the opposite, hard
Three minutes at ten degrees narrows those same vessels and pulls blood back toward your core. When you warm up afterwards, it flushes back through.
The alternation is the point
Open, close, open, close. That back and forth moves blood through muscle and tissue in a way neither temperature does alone, and it is why contrast bathing has been standard in athletic recovery for generations.
Research on contrast water therapy suggests it may help reduce delayed onset muscle soreness after hard exercise compared with resting alone. The effect is modest rather than dramatic, and consistency matters more than any single session. Citations are in our research library.
There is a practical argument too, and it is the one that decides whether you use it. Two stations, a few steps apart, in your own backyard. No booking, no drive, no negotiating with yourself at nine at night. Full detail on protocol and timing is in our contrast therapy guide.
The Starter
The two person indoor sauna and the Circular ice bath. The sauna is our best seller and the size most couples land on. The Circular is the bath that fits a corner, a side passage or a small deck rather than demanding a dedicated area. This is the pairing that does the most work for the least money and the least disruption.
The Home Athlete
The Starter with the compression boots added. If you run, this is the one. Heat and cold handle the whole body, the boots handle the legs specifically, and they are the piece you will use on the days you cannot be bothered with anything else. Twenty minutes on the couch after a long run.
The Triple
Heat, cold and light. The full body panel is the most popular in the Enlighten range and the one that fits an ordinary room, so this is the stack for anyone who wants the three modalities without a dedicated recovery space. Ten minutes in front of the panel while the sauna comes up to temperature.
The Heritage Contrast
Traditional hot rock heat rather than infrared. The 8kW Harvia stove takes the cabin to 100 degrees, hotter than any infrared model reaches, and you ladle water over the stones for loyly steam. This is the format the long running Finnish research was conducted on. Paired with the full length Timber bath in Canadian red cedar, both units live outdoors and become a permanent part of the backyard. If you want the ritual rather than the convenience, this is the one.
The Full Stack
Every tool, at the top of its range, in one purchase. Traditional hot rock heat to 100 degrees with loyly steam. The All-In-One bath, the only model with the chiller, filtration and controls built into the housing, so there is no second unit on the deck and no hose across the pavers. The Professional panel rather than the domestic one. And the boots. This is a complete recovery setup built outdoors and finished, with nothing left to add in twelve months.
How to Choose
Three questions get most people to an answer.
Where is it going?
Indoor saunas need a flat floor and ventilation, nothing else. Outdoor units need a load rated base. If the two stations sit together, measure the run between them, because a contrast session works best when the transition takes seconds rather than a walk through the house.
Who is using it?
A two person sauna suits a couple. Three and four person models exist because people share sessions, or because they want to lie down rather than sit up. Same logic on the bath: the Circular is compact and upright, the Timber is full length.
How often, and starting when?
Building the habit from scratch, the entry stack gets you going and the rest can come later. Already plunging and already using a sauna somewhere else, buy the size you will still want in three years rather than the one that fits this month.
Not sure? Send us your space and your budget and we will tell you which stack fits, or build you one that does.
What to Sort Before Delivery
Delivery. Free East Coast Metro Delivery on every stack. We deliver to your address. Unpacking, positioning and assembly are arranged by you, so have help on hand and clear access. These are heavy items. Outside East Coast Metro, contact us and we will quote it.
Power, and this is the one to sort early. Your two stations have different requirements.
| Elevate 1P and 2P | A 15 amp outlet. |
| Elevate 3P and 4P | A 20 amp outlet. |
| Elevate Outdoor 3P and 5P | A 20 amp outdoor three pin flat pin power point. |
| Heritage Traditional | A dedicated 40 amp circuit. |
| Ice bath chiller | An ordinary 10 amp power point with the supplied cord. No electrician required. |
The standard Australian household socket is 10 amp, and a 15 amp plug will not fit one. Unless your garage or laundry already has the right outlet, one needs installing. All electrical work is carried out by your own licensed electrician. Enhance does not carry out electrical work. Get the quote before you order and book the work for the week of delivery.
Space. Allow room to get in and out of both, and keep the bath out of direct sun where you can. Shade reduces the work the chiller does and your running cost with it.
