Yes. The Timber Ice Bath is chiller-compatible. If you start with a fill-and-chill approach and decide later you want precision temperature control, a chiller unit can be added without replacing the bath. Contact our team when you are ready and we will talk you through your options. The emerge chiller is supplied with this ice bath.
Minimal. Canadian red cedar is naturally weather-resistant and improves in appearance over time outdoors. We recommend an annual application of a food-safe cedar oil to maintain the timber's natural oils, particularly in the first two years. The stainless steel interior requires only regular rinsing and occasional wipe-down with a mild solution. No specialist products needed.
Yes. The interior uses 316 marine-grade stainless steel, the same grade used in marine applications and outdoor architectural fixtures. It is rated for UV exposure, coastal air, humidity, and Australian temperature ranges year-round. No seasonal storage required.
Two main differences. First, the Timber bath uses fill-and-chill (manual ice or separate chiller added later) rather than an integrated chiller unit. Second, the exterior, Canadian red cedar versus matte black stainless steel. The physiological benefits are identical. The Timber is the better choice if you want natural aesthetics and are comfortable managing water temperature manually. The Chiller Bath is the better choice if you want set-and-forget temperature precision every session.
