Frequently asked questions
The Elevate Outdoor Infrared saunas require a 20 amp outdoor 3 pin flat pin power point. If your property does not already have one where the sauna will sit, it is arranged separately through your own licensed electrician. Enhance does not carry out electrical work.
The Elevate Outdoor range is designed and rated for outdoor use. The aluminium exterior and tinted tempered glass handle rain, UV, and temperature changes. A covered deck, pergola, or eave will extend the life of any outdoor unit and is recommended, but the sauna does not require permanent cover to operate outdoors.
A flat, stable, load-rated surface such as a timber deck, a paved area, or a concrete pad. The 3 Person is 1500 x 1800mm and the 5 Person is 2000 x 2000mm, so make sure the base is level and large enough to take the full footprint. Grass or soft ground is not suitable on its own, the unit needs a firm, level base.

Most outdoor saunas are timber, which needs oiling and sealing and still silvers and weathers in the Australian sun. The Elevate Outdoor range uses an aluminium exterior that handles coastal air, UV exposure, and temperature swings with no oiling and no sealing. It does not warp, rot, or fade, and it looks the same in ten years as it does on delivery day. The interior is lined with Canadian Hemlock for the traditional sauna feel.
Yes. The outdoor units deliver the same full spectrum infrared, near, mid, and far wavelengths at once, from Low-EMF mica panels combined with front-door glass heaters. The technology is identical to the indoor Elevate range, built into a cabinet rated for outdoor use. It heats in 20 to 30 minutes, and you can begin your session as it warms.
The 3 Person suits up to three, with a double bench and a lower L-shaped bench. The 5 Person is the largest in the outdoor range and suits up to five, or fewer people with room to stretch out. Both are built for households running recovery together or training partners sharing sessions.
