Frequently asked questions

Free East Coast Metro Delivery. The Elevate Range requires no structural changes to your space. It assembles on site and connects to a 15amp outlet (1P and 2P).

The 1P and 2P Elevate saunas plug into a standard 15 amp outlet, no electrician required. The 3P and 4P models require a 20 amp outlet. If your property needs a new dedicated circuit, this is arranged separately through your own licensed electrician. Enhance does not carry out electrical work.

20 to 30 minutes to reach full operating temperature. Unlike traditional hot rock saunas that need 45 to 60 minutes, infrared heats the structure and your body simultaneously, you can enter the sauna as it's warming up and begin your session before it reaches maximum temperature. For morning sessions, switch it on when you wake up and it's ready by the time you've had your coffee.

Yes. The Elevate Range is designed for standard residential indoor spaces, spare rooms, garages, home gyms, and basements. The space needs a flat floor, adequate ventilation, and the appropriate power supply. The sauna does not require waterproofing or special flooring. If you are unsure whether your space is suitable, contact our team and we can talk it through before you order.

The 1P Elevate draws approximately 1.2 to 1.4kW per session hour. At a 20-minute daily session, the running cost is roughly $0.08 to 0.12 per session at standard Australian electricity rates. The 2P draws 1.8 to 2.0kW, the 3P approximately 2.4kW, and the 4P approximately 3.0kW. All models are significantly more energy-efficient than traditional hot rock saunas of equivalent capacity.

Infrared saunas heat your body directly using light wavelengths, they operate at lower ambient temperatures (55 to 70°C) but penetrate tissue more deeply than hot air. Traditional saunas heat the air to higher ambient temperatures (80 to 100°C) using hot rocks. The Finnish cardiovascular and longevity research was conducted on traditional saunas. Both deliver documented health benefits, the choice is primarily one of preference. Infrared is easier to tolerate, heats faster, and is more suitable for indoor residential installation. Traditional offers the authentic high-heat Finnish experience and the steam of löyly.

Near-infrared (NIR) penetrates deepest into tissue, reaching muscle, joints, and the nervous system. It is associated with cellular regeneration and deeper recovery effects. Mid-infrared penetrates muscle tissue and is associated with cardiovascular response and circulation. Far-infrared (FIR) heats the surface of the body and is associated with detoxification through sweating and immune response. Full-spectrum saunas deliver all three simultaneously, which is why they are considered more therapeutically comprehensive than single-spectrum panels.

20 to 40 minutes is the effective range for most adults. Beginners should start at 15 to 20 minutes and build over 2 to 3 weeks. Research protocols most commonly use 20-minute sessions. Longer sessions (30 to 40 minutes) produce greater heat shock protein response and more pronounced anti-inflammatory effect. Exit if you feel lightheaded or uncomfortable at any point, there is no benefit to pushing beyond your tolerance level. Hydrate before and after each session.
